Summary

KiteCalc does not collect any personal data. We collect limited, anonymous usage analytics to improve the app — no accounts, no ads, no tracking.

What We Collect

KiteCalc collects limited, anonymous usage data through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service. Specifically:

• Device ID — An anonymized identifier generated by hashing your device ID on-device before transmission. This hash cannot be reversed or linked back to you or your device.
• Product Interaction — Anonymous signals about which features are used (e.g., which calculator tab was opened). No input values, weights, or calculation results are ever transmitted.

This data is used solely for analytics to improve the app. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising.

No IP addresses are stored by TelemetryDeck. No personal data is collected, stored, or shared.

Advertising & Tracking

KiteCalc does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not display ads, and does not participate in any ad network. No App Tracking Transparency prompt is required because there is nothing to track.

Data Storage

All calculations are performed locally on your device. No data is sent to any server beyond the anonymous analytics signals described above.

Third-Party Services

KiteCalc does not integrate with any third-party advertising, tracking, or data collection services beyond TelemetryDeck as described above.

Children's Privacy

KiteCalc does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13.
